Wayne Cohen has the first customer of the day, who wants to sell a pair of earrings, he claims are black diamonds from Sierra Leone. As Wayne inspects them, he knows that they are worthless. However, the deal is not over, as Wayne sells him a watch for $25.

Next, a man comes in order to get a loan on his 2007 Bentley, a gorgeous car. Meanwhile, Elyse gets a customer who comes in for his iPhone. The ticket states "as is," which means it was not perfect when they received it. The man is adamant that they broke the phone and not him. The man with the Bentley wants $90,000 on a loan for the car. The brothers offer him $50,000 with a 5% interest. They agree on the price and close the deal.

While the brothers were outside checking out the car, the man with the broken phone was arguing with Elyse. During that time, someone walked out with a television set and security is nowhere to be found. The one security person was sent to the bank to make a deposit and took two hours to return. The other guy said he was in the bathroom. The video tape shows the person walking out with the television.

A man comes in with a gold necklace and lots of other 14 karat stuff and needed a $4,000 loan. The man was a regular there and got it without a problem.

Elyse wants to be the chief of security, and the brothers give her a chance. Now she has the security guys doing menial tasks around the shop.

A woman comes in with what she calls a chinchilla coat that belonged to her grandmother. She wanted $1,000 for it and Randy told her it was worth $100. She started getting loud and Elyse walked her out the door along with the two security guys.

A couple bring in a tandem bicycle. They want much more than the brothers want to offer, but finally agree on $225.

When a guy comes in looking for his laptop to see if they had it in inventory; his accomplice tries to walk off with an electric guitar. Security comes through and tosses the both of them out the door. Job well done, and Elyse is off security for now on "Hardcore Pawn: Chicago."
