Harbor Sweets delights with signature Sweet Sloops for Halloween!

There's really nothing like fall in New England!  With so much to do and experience during the month of October, it's hard to choose from leaf peeping, mountain hiking, scenic walks, pumpkin picking, visiting historic landmarks and most of all... Halloween fun!

A drive to the North Shore includes some of the best sightseeing for seeing rocky coasts, learning about Massachusetts seafaring history, delicious restaurants or for its herald haunted happenings. But don't overlook a visit to the special Harbor Sweets Chocolate Factory, which makes handcrafted chocolates in its original red brick building where it has operated since 1973. It’s a Massachusetts famous institution!

Located near a residential neighborhood, a walk into Harbor Sweets is like stepping back in time. You’re immediately greeted with a smile and a sample of chocolate. The free tour takes you through the assembly line where workers are hand molding and hand dipping chocolate and even wrapping it through a custom machine. It’s signature chocolate is the Sweet Sloops, a classic almond butter crunch in the shape of a sailboat. It’s one a popular gift to give during any season.  It's a true New England favorite.

If you want to experience the chocolate as it is made, drive to Salem and take the Harbor Sweets’ Chocolate Factory Tour with some family and friends. Tours are available five days a week at 9am, 11am and 2pm.  The Harbor Sweets gift shop sells holiday items, so be sure to pop in and get a jump on gifting after your tour. Or, you can order online at www.harborsweets.com

Remember not to leave the factory without a delicious Halloween treat.  Harbor Sweets’ festive orange and black Halloween signature gift bag of Sweet Sloops is delicious and starts at $10.00 to $47.00.
