Now NORMALLY I wouldn't bother mentioning this since once a year these two planets come together. But this year it's a BIG deal because... it's the same week Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, just finished crossing the degree where we had that huge Venus occultation last summer.
Remember that? When Venus crossed the Sun last June for the first time in a gazillion years? All about the highest expressions of Love and the heart, although some also wondered if they'd met their soulmate or just some karmic torturer from another lifetime.
Well we're FINALLY in completion of THAT. The fog is gone.
And, what's it all mean now? Relationships of EVERY kind, including romantic, in mega-transition. Decisive endings but also startling new beginnings that seemingly come out of nowhere.
And hey, if you've read Outrageous Openness you already know none of this has much to do with gender or sexual orientation, right? We're all BOTH inside, depending on the chart. Since plenty of women are very Martian, and plenty of guys Venusian. Keeps it all confusingly interesting no matter what reductive theories John Gray wrote in those silly Venus/Mars books. Don't get me started :)).
Anyway, I'd rather party. Happy, happy conjunction!
