For those of you hopeless romantics who celebrate Valentine's Day, forget the roses (they'll die soon) & chocolates (too many calories). Fire up the DVD player or dust off the VCR and show these movies to your favorite lovey. We published this article two years ago, and I still haven't gotten to some on the list (not sure if I want to)...
Horror Happenings Terrorble Top 10 List of Valentines Day Films with a Heart (possibly cut out)
1. My Bloody Valentine (1981) - who would have guessed that this would make the list?
2. My Bloody Valentine 3-D (2009) - this was part of the most recent return of 3-D movies, and it's decent.
3. Valentine (2008) (with Denise Richards, David Boreanaz, Katherine Heigl) - could actually be on some top 10 lists for worst movies too
4. Lover's Lane (1999) - bad slasher film that probably couldn't get the rights to use the name "My Bloody Valentine Part 2"
5. Broken Hearts (2010) - Canadian Valentines film; don't know if it ever got mass-distribution
6. Hospital Massacre (1982) - with Hugh Hefner favorite Barbie Benton - the best bad Valentines / hospital movie ever
7. My Boyfriend's Back (1993) - more cutesy than funny
8 .Ghost Valentine (also known as Ghost of Valentine) (2006) - did you know they make scary films in Thailand?
9. The Caveman's Valentine (2001) with Samuel L. Jackson - intense suspense that's probably in a different league than the other cheesier titles on this list. Hey is it my imagination, or does Samuel L. Jackson appear in more films than any other actor in the past 20 years?
10. Blood & Roses (1960) with Mel Ferrer - blood + roses = passion + vampires
