It's a day for sweet indulgence and bouquets of roses. The florist delivers are well underway at office buildings all over metro Atlanta. The rain has tapered off so that should not hamper the drivers too much. The bosses may need to look hard to find the secretary sitting behind the bouquet of roses on their desk.
The Atlanta radio stations hit the airwaves this morning with plenty of listeners calling in with their Valentine's Day plans. The music will vary around the stations with romantic slow R&B, pop, and classical like Bach and Yo-Yo Ma. R&B crooner Keith Sweat, who is from Atlanta, comes to mind for all the sweet jams that hit the right note on Valentine's Day.
Over on the People's Station V-103FM, DJ Baby Yu & Kenny Burns have put together some smooth & hip sounds on their "Le Noir Mixtape: The Valentine's Day Warm Up." The mixtape kicks off with Earth, Wind & Fire's "Loves Holiday" and there is plenty more artists featured. These guys have put together some sweet jams to enjoy.
