Happy Thanksgiving from Examiner!

This year I’m thankful for a great many things—including YOU!

I’m enormously thankful for the opportunity to share my interest in Marilyn Monroe with equally knowledgeable readers. It’s always been my goal to provide factual, respectful information to Marilyn fans—new and old—free of charge. Marilyn believed she belonged to the people, so it’s fitting that information about her be easily accessible to everyone.

Because of this column, I have had the opportunity to educate people who know little about Marilyn, but I’ve also met like-minded individuals who have not only generously assisted me with this column but have, in turn, furthered my own education about Marilyn. There is always something new to learn about Marilyn it seems, or a way to view her with fresh eyes.

Over the three decades I have studied the life and career of Marilyn Monroe, I have realized that if a penniless orphan can grow up to be the most famous woman in the world, there’s no reason the rest of us can’t accomplish anything we set our minds to. This is a tremendous gift to give someone, and I am grateful to have learned it.

I am thankful for everyone’s continued interest and support in this column and I hope to provide you with Marilyn news and information for as long as you'll have me!

Happy Thanksgiving!
