HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL
Especially to the ones that have been treated with a lack of compassion rather than gentleness this past year. Happy New Year to the ones that have been misused and abused by the cowards in their care; Happy New Year to those that were unfortunate enough to be hurt or maimed by those who should have been caring and loving them instead.
For the children of this world that have been mistreated and abused, may this New Year bring you only joy, and never pain at the hands of a loved one; may you never know another sleepless night anxiously wondering whether you will receive a hand that hurts, but may you only receive a hand that grips your own tiny hand with sheer delight in a promise of love aplenty.
May this New Year bring to all senior citizens that have suffered at the hands of their caregivers, caretakers or even family members, only peace and solitude; May you only know the comfort of a warm and gentle hand upon your shoulders, and hugs plentiful.
May you all receive what you desire, especially if that is a new start in life and even if that includes a long, list of resolutions; may a string of blessings continue to follow you each and every day; may this be a New Year where senseless violence perpetrated upon women and children is finally put to an end; may the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy heal and prosper despite the odds. Happy New Year and Peace to each and every one of you!
