I would like to wish all of the readers of Examiner.com a happy and safe New Year!

The Berkshire Travel section of Examiner in the coming of the 2010 New Year will each week be featuring one town through out the Pioneer Valley, the Berkshires, as well as the history of the Appalachian Trail that begins in Maine and ends in Georgia if you live in the Northeast for those in the Southern part of our country it begins in Georgia and ends in Maine.

We are looking forward to showing our readers the many wonders of Western Massachusetts along with our bordering states. Massachusetts sits in the “hub” of New England as we call it here.
