Welcome, 2010!  As you sit here this day, I wish all of you, my Examiner readers, a happy and healthy new year!  Resolution lists probably abound and it's not only a personal thing, it involves your homeschool, too.

So for 2010, here are my homeschool resolutions:

- To get more organized so that I can find what I need when I'm looking for it

- To relax more - a stressed out teacher is not easy to be around!

- To break out of the box a little bit more - there's no need to only use textbooks when there are tons of great resources available!

- To encourage other, newer homeschoolers as they begin their journey and remember how it once felt to just be starting out.

- Remember that not every child is a genius and that it's okay if he doesn't score perfectly on every test he takes.

There's probably more, but those are the few that came to mind.  Happy 2010, everyone!  Happy Homeschooling!
