If you love to munch on crunchy and salty snacks, and who doesn't, today may be your lucky day.  It’s National Tortilla Chip Day!    While the origin of this food holiday is unknown, Americans celebrate National Tortilla Chip Day every February 24th.

This versatile crunchy chip can be eaten plain as a snack, as a dipper in dips and even in casseroles.  Made from corn, Americans have been enjoying these delicious snacks for decades. Today’s tortilla chips now come in a variety of shapes, sizes, flavors and colors. Whether you prefer yours straight out of the bag, as a handy dipper or slathered with warm and spicy cheese sauce, these tasty treats are sure to hit the right spot.
