Mother’s Day is fast approaching. There are many ways to honor your mother and have fun while spending time with her. One of the best ways to celebrate the holiday is by reading a book together—or listening to a story together—and “Reading Rainbow” has made this possible via their app and their YouTube channel! In honor of Mother’s Day, Reading Rainbow is featuring the reading of a special book that highlights the loving relationship between mothers and their children.

“Hush, Little Dragon” is a story by Boni Ashburn that centers on the relationship between a mother dragon and her beloved son. The book is a funny, sweet, creative and whimsical ode to the classic lullaby “Hush, Little Baby.” Introduced by LeVar Burton and read by Jenni Buchanan, our own Reading Rainbow Mom, this sweet Story Time video will put a smile on the faces of both children and adults!
