Visitors to Disney's California Adventure Park between February 8 and 11, 2013, will be able to enjoy Lunar New Year 2013 celebration events. As part of the celebration there will be a special parade, character photo opportunities, and entertainment performances. There will also be some decorations including lanterns and Happy Lunar New Year signs in English, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese.
The Mulan Chinese New Year Procession is a special parade that will run several times during the event. This parade will feature the characters Mulan and Mushu as well as umbrella dancers. Other special performances during the event will include drummers, musicians, and martial artists.
During the Happy Lunar New Year 2013 celebration, there will be photo opportunities with characters like Mulan and Mushu. Also, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be dressed in costumes that reflect the celebration, so you can enjoy getting special photos with the beloved classic Disney characters.
