This easy-going intimate bar and lounge reveals more than that which meets the eye, the longer you stay. Just chat with the friendly bartenders, other staff and regulars at the bar. For example, you’ll need to make a list of the upcoming tastings that could feature anything from wines to bourbons to sparklers. Then on Mondays, you’ll save half-off the bottle of wine while dining.
During Happy Hour – you’ll discover that wine, cocktails, beers and appetizers are discounted - some half-off. Their signature drinks shouldn’t be passed up. A partial list includes Cin-Cin Manhattan, Mango Margarita, Lavender Martini and Cin-Cin House Red Sangria.
The popular Lavender Martini is smooth as silk and not what you would expect if you’ve never tasted a “Lavender Martini” which is handmade by Cin-Cin staff from fresh lavender blossoms.
Try some Citrus-Marinated Olives with your drink of choice along with Carolina Style pulled Pork sliders or Sherry Chicken Liver Crostini, or if you prefer, you can choose from vegetarian options.
The Happy Hour “Nibbles” and selection of drinks can easily satisfy if light dining is what you have in mind. Move on to the main dinner menu for more filling options.
Not many bars in a restaurant offer two happy hours and Cin-Cin offers a later happy hour on weekends from Friday to Saturday – nice – in case you didn’t make it to the earlier one or a great stop after dancing down the street.
The wine selection is interesting in that you can discover new enjoyable wines you’ve never heard of being offered anywhere else. And to help you navigate and learn more about the wide selection, you can call on Cin-Cin’s sommelier for expert suggestions on how to pair with your dishes as well as just finding something to suit your personal taste for sipping.
Stay tuned as I return with some notes on the restaurant (Kitchen) side of Cin-Cin.
