Branson has an adventure that is sure to fit into Halloween thrill seekers plans. Greg Pyron agreed to share his October birthday surprise with us and we think it would be a great Halloween adventure too.
Branson Zipline & Canopy Tour Branson's newest adventure opened this spring to a steady business that has continued through the summer and fall. Zipline is beautiful in the fall and promises to be all the more exciting after the leaves fall.
Greg Pyron is head of Operations at KOMC-KRZK. You may recognize his voice from "Ozark Mountain Gems," he is the creator/producer of the weekly program. Greg went on the 1.5 hour Flying Prospector Canopy Tour.
Tour Details – there are 4 zip lines, 7 suspension bridges and takes about 1.5 – 2 hours actual time. Be sure to get your reservations in early because the spaces are limited and as word gets out, Branson Zip line's popularity soars. (Pun intended.)
As soon as Greg completed his tour, we asked if he would like to come back. “Oh yes, I am ready to go again,” said Greg Pyron.“It was thrilling.”
Using a system that originated in the jungles of Costa Rica, the Branson Zipline and Canopy Tour will allow guests to soar in the Ozark Mountains. As visitors “zip” from observation platform to platform, through and over the trees, certified guides will accompany participants pointing out unique topographical and historical features of the Ozarks.
Other tour include the two and a half hour Ozarks Xplorer Canopy Tour® an interactive tour which features a variety of zip lines, walkways and platforms; and the Blue Streak Fast Line®, a one-stop thrill ride.
Hamilton adds, “Visitors will be able to experience the Ozark Outdoors through all the seasons, as we run year round. We only pause for lightning.”
The Branson Zipline & Canopy Tour is the only facility of its kind in the region. “We can take up to 12 people at a time on each tour, so there is a very limited capacity.” states Emma, “In many areas, zip line canopy tours are sold out weeks and months in advance, so we strongly advise making reservations now."
The details: The Zipline adventure is seven miles north of down town Branson on Highway 65. There is no age restriction on the tours, but participants must meet weight guidelines: between 75 and 275 pounds to meet the minimum eligibility requirements.

Trip Tip: As of this post there were spaces available for Sat, Oct 30 and Sun, Oct 31, all hallows eve and halloween day.
