Marla a 1-year-old retriever mix, doesn't realize the danger she's in since no one has stepped up to adopt her at the high-kill Greenville, South Carolina shelter.

It's easy to see what a happy dog Marla is. Judging by the smile on her face, she'll make someone a great best friend.
