Spring has arrived and as you get that spring-time hairstyle and highlights, don't forget about your dog. Upstate Animal Rescue is making it easy for you to make sure your dog looks his or her best this spring. In partnership with groomer Danes and Manes in Tamassee, SC, the rescue is offering to bath your dog, clip its names, and brush its teeth for $10, and all proceeds go to Upstate Animal Rescue.

The fundraiser will run Saturday through Monday, April 12th-14th, at Danes and Manes, 9695 N. Highway 11, in Tamassee. To make an appointment, please call 864-723-0364.

UARSC Director Kelley Blair explained that she is very excited about this fundraiser. "We are thrilled that Danes and Manes has partnered with us for this wonderful project. This is something that many dogs can use, and the price can't be beat. Every dollar goes to help homeless pets in Upstate Animal Rescue, so when you take your dog in for this mini-groom through this program, your money actually does double duty."

Upstate Animal Rescue is based in Townville and is a 501c3 corporation. All contributions are tax deductible. For more information, please see their Facebook page or their website.
