HAPPY BIRTHDAY SNOOP DOGG!

Today on Oct. 20, 1971 a star was born in Long Beach, California by the name of Cordozar Calvin Broadus, who has become known to the world as King of West Coast rap  "Snoop Dogg."  Today he turns 39. Snoop has become a househould name, since starting his rap career in 1992. He has mastered the world of entertainment whether it be music, endorsements, acting, TV shows, talk shows,video games and his new role at Priority Records this man is a pure genius.  Anything with his name behind is sure to be on top jacc.

I would like to wish Snoop Dogg a HAPPY BIRTHDAY with this special tribute. Here are 39  interesting  things you may know or not know about Snoop Dogg:

1. Snoop Dogg got his name from his mother who jokingly remarked that he looked like the Peanuts character Snoopy.
2. Snoop is the nephew of the legendary man of funk Bootsy Collins, who was a member of the group 'Parliament-Funkadelic'.
3.   His music career began in 1992, after his friend Warren G introduced him to Dr. Dre.
4.  In September 2009, Snoop took on the position as EMI chairman at Priority Records.
5. Snoop has 2 brothers and he is the middle child.

10. Snoop's debut album, Doggystyle, was released in 1993 under Death Row Records. Doggystyle went quadrople platinum and brought several hit singles such as “What’s My Name” and “Gin and Juice.”
11. Snoop has had 3 TV shows: Doggy Fizzle Televizzle, Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood and Dogg After Dark.
