Today Eliza Dushku turns 31-years-awesome, and to that the Whedonverse says: Happy birthday!
Dushku is best known and beloved in the Whedonverse for her role as leading lady Echo in the two seasons of Dollhouse, Joss Whedon's short-lived but thought-provoking sci-fi series. Before that Dushku made a name for herself as rogue Vampire Slayer Faith Lehane in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the series.
For her birthday wish, Dushku has asked that her fans donate to THARCE-GULU, a charity in Uganda dedicated to serving former child soldiers and victims of war. The name stands for Trauma Healing and Reflection Center, and Dushku has been very involved with the organization for years.

LOVELIES!! It's that WONDERFUL time of year again... MY BIRTHDAY arrives on December 30, and I'll be 18 again..! ;) Ok, maybe not. However, I DO still have a birthday WISH: that in lieu of gifts this year, you, my beautiful & generous friends donate to THARCE-GULU, our beloved organization in Northern Uganda that provides Trauma Healing and Reflection for former child soldiers and victims of war. We have done INCREDIBLE work since last year & I'll continue to update you with videos from our travels/cause! THANK YOU, I appreciate, value & adore each and every last one of you..
