Amanda Bynes had a busy 26th year – and not in a good way. Amanda dealt with arrests, legal troubles and evictions, while her appearance and behavior grew more bizarre. According to an April 2 Star Crush report, Bynes ended the year by failing to show up at court yesterday.
Amanda was due in court for a hearing regarding the misdemeanor charges against her for driving on a suspended license. An attorney for Bynes was able to get the judge to agree to a continuance. A new court date is set for May 2.
Amanda was seen walking around New York City in socks with sandals yesterday. Bynes was photographed carrying a Fed Ex envelope. These may have been important court documents the district attorney said Amanda’s lawyer has been waiting for in order to move forward with negotiating a plea bargain.
Amanda Bynes turns 27 today. Fans are hoping the new year will be less dramatic for the former teen star who is now being called “the new Lindsay Lohan” in the media.
