If you appreciate a good beer every so often, today may be your lucky day! It’s Beer Can Appreciation Day, also known as National Beer Can Appreciation Day and/or International Beer Can Appreciation Day. Regardless of what you call it, this annual "holiday" commemorates the first day beer was sold in cans back on January 24th, 1935. The Gottfried Krueger Brewing Company first distributed it’s Krueger’s Finest Beer to the general public on that date and folks have been sippin’ on suds ever since.
