Jon and Kate Gosselin renew their vows in Hawaii

Today, June 12, 2009, is Jon and Kate Gosselin's 10th wedding anniversary. And there's no doubt that back in 1999 when they were saying "I do" they couldn't imagine in their wildest dreams what lay ahead in their lives.
Jon and Kate met at a company picnic in 1997, and according to Kate on the Gosselins' website, they quickly fell in love:
I never believed in 'love at first sight,' but this came really close. Jon was walking across the grass and I saw him and was instantly intrigued!
They married 2 years later in 1999. Shortly after they wanted to start a family, but Kate was unable to conceive due to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. So she underwent fertility treatment which was successful and she gave birth to fraternal twin girls on October 8, 2000.
A few years later Jon and Kate decided they wanted to have another child, and tempted fate by undergoing the same fertility treatment that resulted in a multiple birth three years earlier. Not only did lightning strike twice, but six times, as the Gosselins found out Kate was pregnant with sextuplets. Strongly "pro-life", they decided not to have a "selective reduction" procedure and kept all six babies, winning the hearts of the Christian community.
Kate gave birth to the "tups" on May 10, 2004, landed a reality show on TLC soon after, and the rest is history.
So let's raise a glass of champagne and toast Jon and Kate on their milestone 10th anniversary, while everyone wonders if they can make it to their 11th.
