It was in the 1990s that the “dot-com” boom started and businesses of all sizes began advertising using the World Wide Web. Online advertising has gone through so many changes in the last 25 years as search engine optimizations have grown as consumers became more and more dependent on the Internet.

In these technological advances through the years, what began 25 years ago has now become an everyday occurrence to learn and grow, explore and entertain using what we now simply call the Internet. Advertisements went from pop-up ads to ads within the text of articles and blogs and lately videos that begin as soon as a site opens.

In the last 25 years, the World Wide Web has gone through many changes and continues to evolve with its users. It was a step in a direction that many had not realized would become a household name and everyday use.
