The premiere Chinese New Year event will take place at the heart of the culture, in Beijing, China.  Other international locations celebrating with special events and parades include Hong Kong, London, Toronto, Boston, New York, Chicago and Singapore.

This year marks the Year of the Dragon - the most auspicious and most powerful of the Chinese zodiac signs.  According to Chinese astrology, 2012 is a Water Dragon, Black Water Dragon or Black Dragon year which means that 2012 will be a strong water year, bringing many possibilities for good fortune.
