Hannah Teter has birthday on the slopes? Athlete prepares for Sochi Olympics

Hannah Teter has been to the Olympics before but every trip to the biggest sporting event needs plenty of practice. That’s why the 2014 Sochi Olympic hopeful isn't celebrating her birthday lounging around the house, but actually practicing on the slopes. The athlete shared a picture of her birthday celebration and there is no doubt she is putting in the time before the big day in Sochi.

“Happy Birthday to meeeeee,” tweeted Hannah Teter from her official twitter account. The athlete posted a picture of her on the mountain and what fans saw was a warm athlete who had reflective goggles. The reflection showcased the mountain as Teter saw it and the snow was pretty impressive to the fans.

It’s obvious with the countdown to Sochi starting that Team USA is making the most of their time by practice and more practice. The final run in Russia has to be the best and there can’t be any mistakes to win. Ultimately that means Hannah Teter and her team needs to be working and not celebrating.

Hopefully Hannah will pick up a gold for her birthday. It might be two or three weeks late, but that would be so worth the wait. And a perfect birthday present!
