While it remains to be seen if Nashville's favorite adopted son Jack White will take a quick trip down I-24 to play Bonnaroo 2012, we do know that he has festivals on the agenda for his first solo tour as he has been announced as one of the three headliners for our next door neighbors in Gulf Shores, Alabama for the Hangout Festival.
The lineup, announced in the wee hours of this morning, features The Dave Matthews Band as the main headliners, with White listed second and Jam superstars String Cheese Incident performing two sets as the third headliner.

If you want to see Classic Rock, Hangout delivers with three huge Classic Rock acts. Steve Winwood is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted guitarist for Traffic and Blind Faith. Randy Newman is an award winning pianist known both for his satirical songs like "Short People" and his iconic work with Pixar pictures on movies like Toy Story and Monsters, Inc. Chris Cornell is best known as the frontman for two hitmaking Rock groups, Soundgarden and Audioslave, but has been making a name for himself with his intense and soulful solo performances in recent years.
For those looking to get their Electronic fix, Hangout features a wide variety of Electronic offerings. White hot producer and DJ Skrillex is one of the biggest names in Dubstep today. Jamtronica favorites STS9 have long been known for their inventive mixture of electronics and lengthy Jam-centric compositions. Trance DJ Paul Oakenfold is one of the oldest and most well-respected artists in the business.
Fans looking for Blues and Americana influenced AOR Music have plenty to watch as well. In addition to the hitmaking Dave Matthews Band, Hangout also brings in Americana favorites Wilco, Soul and Americana legend Mavis Staples, Indie-Rock hitmakers Dr. Dog, and Celtic Rockers Flogging Molly.
If you're just looking for a big party on the beach, Hangout features party favorites like Reggae-influenced Rockers Michael Franti and Spearhead, the psychedelic spectacle of The Flaming Lips, and high energy Gypsy Punk outfit Gogol Bordello.
