Update 6/24/14: Safe!
On June 10, an incredibly handsome senior dog was picked up as a stray and taken to the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control facility in Baldwin Park, Calif.
The eight-year-old dog, identified on the facility's website as a Malamute mix, is already neutered...suggesting that he previously had an owner. However, in the ten days that have passed, nobody has come forward to claim him. A volunteer who visits the facility to take photos of the dogs who are impounded wrote the following about this dog:
He was not aggressive when I saw him. he was laying down and when I called him, he came over and took treats, very gentle
Despite numerous "shares" on this dog's Facebook thread, nobody, as of yet, has been able to pull him from the facility and into their home.
Please take a moment to network this beautiful dog's information - ideally, it will reach someone who is willing and able to offer him a loving new home.
