Update 4/22/14: Rescued!

Since March 31, a handsome German shepherd has been waiting at the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control in Baldwin Park, Calif., for someone to come and take him home.

Today, three weeks later, he still waits - the dog who was picked up as a stray remains behind bars, growing more depressed by the day.

The seven-year-old dog, dubbed "Mufasa" has been described as "big boy" who takes treats gently...unfortunately, most of his time is spent curled up on his bed, too depressed to interact with anyone.

Please take a moment to network on behalf of this handsome dog - he deserves to be in a home where he is treasured and treated like family.
