"Wrapped in Memories" is the title of the March exhibit at Raven Rocks Gallery at Grenbank Farm, featuring the hand woven wraps of India Rassner-Donovan of Dancing Turkey Textiles. Each wrap is unique, created in a broad pallet of rich colors in bamboo, linen, silk cotton and wool fibers. Placing one of her Doula Wraps around your shoulders, you are immediately embraced by a feeling of comfort and warmth. The story of how they came to be is not to be missed.
Also featured in March are the paintings of Marcia Van Doren. Her oil paintings evoke a sense of “having been there”, stirring memories of transitional or cherished times in our lives. This is a highly unique body of work that takes the viewer to places remembered, or sometimes forgotten, throughout their lives.
