Hand Feed A Chickadee At Brecksville Nature Center

See also

Every January and February, the Cleveland Metroparks encourages people to brave the cold for a chance to feed a Chickadee. A Chickadee is a small bird that will land directly in your hand.

This free event takes place at the Brecksville Nature Center every Saturday and Sunday through February 23, 2014 from 10 a.m. until noon. The Nature Center will supply visitors with black oil sunflower seeds, one of the Chickadee's favorite snacks. Place the seeds in your palm and patiently wait for one of the birds to land in your hand to eat.

The Brecksville Nature Center is located at 9000 Chippewa Creek Drive in Brecksville. Find out more about the Cleveland Metroparks at clevelandmetroparks.com
