Hamilton beats Monroe; advances to the finals of their home tourney

Monroe’s Isiaah Bryant hit six three-pointers but it was not enough as Hamilton beat the Vikings 70-52 to advance to the championship game at the Huntington Park/Hamilton Tournament.

The Yankees jumped out a 21-9 advantage in the first quarter led by Kris Berry’s 20 points.

Jaffrey Stillman recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Lawrence Carter also had 14 points for Hamilton.

Bryant finished with 20 points for Monroe.
