HALO seeks forever homes just in time for the holidays

At the Helping Animals Live Organization (HALO) House in Little Falls, the top of every homeless cat’s wish list is a warm, safe home with a loving family to care for them. Whether they are lost, abandoned, or no longer able to stay in their current homes, homeless cats are cared for by the volunteers at HALO until their wish is granted. With that goal in mind, HALO is launching “A Home for the Holidays” campaign in an effort to find permanent homes for their resident cats at HALO House this holiday season.

In a news release, a representative of the organization stated, "The rescue has a cat for every preference, from longhair to shorthair, black to orange, very sweet to independent; all are looking for that person who will take them home. HALO's adoption fee of $50.00 includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, and testing for feline diseases." To view some of the available pets, visit the group's website at www.halorescue.net.

For those not quite ready to adopt, fostering a cat for the holidays is a very rewarding experience, as it has been proven that fostering saves pets' lives.

Please call Faye at (315) 823-0239 or Andrea at (315) 823-4680 for more information.

HALO House is located at 615 Albany Street in Little Falls. Because it is staffed by volunteers, appointments are preferred to see the cats. Volunteers will accommodate your schedule.
