New “Halo 5” details are expected to be revealed at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. According to a report from VG247 on Feb. 28, Phil Spencer was asked by a fan to provide an update on the next installment of the series. The corporate vice president at Microsoft Studios responded by saying that more “Halo” news will be announced at E3 2014.
He went on to hint that 343 Industries, the studio behind the development of the tentatively-titled “Halo 5,” has some kind of “great plan” in place. You can find some screens from the upcoming title in the slideshow embedded to the left side of this article and his comments below:

343 Industries’ plans may have been leaked in advance by an insider. The studio could be planning to release “Halo 2 Anniversary” for the Xbox One later this year in North America. The remastered port of “Halo 2” is rumored to include a multiplayer beta of “Halo 5.”
The next mainline “Halo” game is expected to come out either in 2014 or 2015. The follow-up to “Halo 4” will take advantage of the Xbox One hardware by supporting a frame rate clip of 60 frames per second in addition to using the Azure cloud servers.
Microsoft’s new system was officially released in the North American region on Nov. 22nd of last year.
