New details have been revealed in regards to the upcoming “Halo” video game for the Xbox One. According to a Facebook post (via NeoGAF) on Sept. 1, a spokesperson from Axis Animation confirmed that they were the company responsible for the debut trailer of the first-person shooter.
The video was first shown off at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo during Microsoft’s media briefing. However, an update video that was uploaded by Axis Animation disclosed that the upcoming title will have the official name of “Halo 5.” You can check out the logo, as well as some other screens from the trailer, in the slideshow located on the top left-hand side of this article.
John Allardice was responsible for directing the “Halo 5” trailer while Paula Lacerda handled the production aspects. 343 Industries and Microsoft Studios are listed as clients by Axis Animation. You can check out the details of the video below (courtesy of the Axis Animation Facebook page):

343 Industries is the company that is currently developing “Halo 5.” The development team worked on “Halo 4” for the Xbox 360 current-generation console. Microsoft Studios is the publisher behind the product, which is scheduled to launch exclusively for the Xbox One in 2014. The video game was previously confirmed to run at 60 frames per second and support dedicated servers using the Xbox Cloud service of the next-generation system.
