‘Halo 5’ most likely coming to Xbox 720, according to report (Photos)

The rumored “Halo 5” is most likely coming to the Xbox 720. According to a report by Game Reactor on March 3, the recently-released “Halo 4” was the first game in the new “Reclaimer Trilogy” for the “Halo” franchise. So it is safe to assume that the sequel is already in development for the Xbox 720 next-generation system. Furthermore, the website believed that “Halo 5” would not be released on an aging console like the Xbox 360. You can check out some screens from “Halo 4” in the slideshow at the top of this article.

The fourth numbered entry in the “Halo” series is also the first not to be developed by Bungie. Instead, 343 Industries is responsible for the production of “Halo 4.” The first-person shooter was released by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox 360 on Nov. 6, 2012. 343 Industries will most likely return to the same role for “Halo 5.” The Xbox 720, which is expected to be officially announced in the near future, will be coming out later this year.
