The development team at 343 Industries, who is currently working on the tentatively-titled “Halo 5,” is looking to add several prominent members to their staff. According to a report from Dual Shockers on March 15, Microsoft has posted nearly a dozen job openings from within the first-party studio.
The postings cover a wide variety of areas in 343 Industries with positions in art, graphics, multiplayer, software development, sound and testing. The expansion of 343 Industries could mean that the studio is planning a big reveal of “Halo 5” at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The video game was first announced at E3 2013 with a computer-generated trailer showing Master Chief wandering around a desert. Both of the developer and publisher have kept quiet on the project since aside from confirming that it will be running at 60 frames per second while taking advantage of the Azure cloud service at the same time. Phil Spencer, the corporate vice president of Microsoft Studios, recently teased that new “Halo” news will be coming at E3 2014. Along with the next installment, the company is expected to show off “Halo 2 Anniversary,” which may be coming out later this year for the Xbox One with a beta invite for “Halo 5.”
