War games daily’s (01/11– 01/12):
The Pistolero: Get 9 kills with a Secondary Weapon in a single match - 2,350 XP
This one's not difficult at all, just play SWAT, stay in close quarters, and use your secondaries. If not that use the boltshot in close quarters on any 4v4 playlist.
Raise the Flag: Win 3 matchmaking Capture the Flag matches - 1,500 XP
This one isn't difficult at all, at least it's not 9. Just get a team and work together, it's the best way to optimize your odds. Maybe have some people go on offense and some on defense, or however you prefer to do it, just get a team, otherwise you might be playing CTF for a lot longer than you had hoped.

War games weekly’s (01/07 – 01/14):
Spray and Pray: Get 80 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon - 4,200 XP
This one's not so bad actually. Automatic loadout weapons include the assault rifle, the supressor, and the storm rifle.
If you're shooting at long range remember to pace your shots so that you can be more accurate.
Also stay in close quarters and wait for people to come to you, and avoid immediate ranges so you don't get hit by a shotgun or boltshot.
The Kill-O-Tron: Earn 12 Multikill medals in a single match - 6,200 XP
This one's kind of tough. The best way to get this is through dominion, capture the flag, and big team infinity slayer. Really objective based games are the best for this type of challenge. It gives you enough time to get everything done.
Getting the heavy vehicles or heavy weapons is one of the best ways to get this challenge. Having a great team is another important factor in this challenge.
Sniper rifles are another great way to get this challenge, better be good with your thumb though, or else it's gonna be rough.

War games monthly (January)
To the Victor Go the Spoils: Win 70 matchmaking War Games matches - 15,000 XP
This monthly challenge is exactly the same as last months challenges, except now it's cut down to 70 wins.
The quickest way to get this challenge would probably be to do a lot of SWAT. These matches usually end the quickest out of any playlist. Regicide seems to end fast too. Slayer is also extremely nice, including big team as well.
I would avoid playlists like King of the Hill or capture the flag, as these types of matches seem to last the longest. Free for all playlists are really bad too, as they tend to take an abnormally long time as well.
It seems as though they want to use these monthly challenges just to try to get people to keep playing war games. Or maybe they're just trying to give people some goal to strive for. Either way this is one of those challenges where you should just let it happen when it happens.
