War games daily’s (01/04– 01/05):

Fully Automated: Get 13 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon in a single match - 2,450 XP

This one's a toughy. Do small playlists for this one, such as oddball or infinity slayer. It's best to stick to objective games though, like oddball or CTF.

Stay away from big team matches like Dominion or big team infinity slayer. In the bigger matches precision weapons are too powerful over the automatics because of the average range that players shoot at each other from.

Dominator: Win 3 matchmaking Dominion matches - 1,600 XP

This one's a fun one. Getting a team is the best way to win this, but if not then you can always just try to get power vehicles like the banshee and wraith and try to single-handedly turn the tide of the battle.

If you do have a team though, try to get them to pick up as many power weapons and vehicles as possible. One of the most important things in dominion is vehicle dominion. If you can posses all the heavy vehicles on the map, no one can stand a chance against your team.

War games weekly’s (12/31 – 01/07):

Fully Automated: Get 15 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon in a single match - 6,250 XP

This one's pretty tough. Do objective playlists to get this one, or else there just won't be enough time. Also avoid big map playlists like dominion, there's no way to get enough automatic kills on the maps of those playlists.

If you're trying to shoot someone from a distance, don't forget to scatter your shots, only pull the trigger once or twice per second, rather than holding it down the whole time.

Stay in close quarters, the longer range you're fighting from, the more worthless automatic weapons are.

Earn 35 Combat Skill Medals: Earn 35 Combat Skill Medals - 4,650 XP

Well, what a creative title this week... So anyway, Combat Skill Medals include: Headcase, killjoy, showstopper, from the grave, and reload this.

If you want to knock away this weekly challenge, then go for SWAT. Headcase and reload this are easiest to get in SWAT. Headcase is when you get a headshot on someone who's sprinting btw.

If you don't like SWAT, infinity slayer is another great one for combat skill medals. If you want this weekly challenge however, you gotta be skillful, these medals are tough to get, and it's even tougher to get 35, so good luck!

War games monthly (January)

To the Victor Go the Spoils: Win 70 matchmaking War Games matches - 15,000 XP

This monthly challenge is exactly the same as last months challenges, except now it's cut down to 70 wins.

The quickest way to get this challenge would probably be to do a lot of SWAT. These matches usually end the quickest out of any playlist. Regicide seems to end fast too. Slayer is also extremely nice, including big team as well.

I would avoid playlists like King of the Hill or capture the flag, as these types of matches seem to last the longest. Free for all playlists are really bad too, as they tend to take an abnormally long time as well.

It seems as though they want to use these monthly challenges just to try to get people to keep playing war games. Or maybe they're just trying to give people some goal to strive for. Either way this is one of those challenges where you should just let it happen when it happens.
