"Halo 4" was updated Monday with the final episode of the first season of Spartan Ops plus the all new competitive playlist for the Xbox 360 shooter.
Episode 10 of Spartan Ops represents the culmination of events that have occurred in the past nine episodes as we now know what it is that Jul M'Dama has been hunting for on Requiem and is now ready to leave the Forerunner shield world. It's potentially something that could give what remains of the Covenant an upper-hand over the humans and it will send the UNSC Infinity and its Spartans on the hunt to prevent M'Dama for leaving.
Meanwhile, the multiplayer received a big update with the long-awaited Team Throwdown competitive playlist. The playlist is based on the "v2" competitive settings and features Team Slayer, Capture the Flag, Extraction and King of the Hill. The settings are based on input from "competitive community leaders" and feedback from the community at large.

343 Industries has hinted at a second season for Spartan Ops but no details have been formally announced yet.
