In Halo 4, the UNSC Mammoth is the largest vehicle ever to be deployed in a Halo game. It’s dramatically larger than any of the other vehicles in Halo, and can deploy several smaller vehicles such as warthogs and mongooses. [A full list of Halo 4 vehicles]
This vehicle is basically a mobile command station for UNSC forces while stuck on the campaign’s forerunner planet. This vehicle is only usable in campaign on Halo 4.
There are rocket turrets on the top of the vehicle on either front corner, and the vehicle itself has a giant cannon on the back. Other than that the vehicle is actually kind of defenseless without the people on and around the vehicle defending it.
The Mammoth is an interesting twist on the Halo 4 campaign. It really helps players feel that sense of adventure, and the sense of epic-ness. This vehicle truly is a Mammoth of a vehicle, and brings an interesting feeling to the level of campaign that it is featured in.
