This weekend was the kick-off to the annual Hall-ZOO-ween trick-or-treat time at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. If you didn't get your little ghouls and goblins there this weekend, don't worry, there's still more time!
New additions this year to HallZOOween include the Beauty Shop of Horrors where kids can get their nails painted in spooky, sparkly colors or opt to get a tattoo of their choosing by one of the costumed workers. They can also tromp around in a zoo parade this year, showing off their awesome costumes to fellow zoo-goers.
Of course some old favorites have returned, including the Frisch's Pumpkin Patch where your little ones can pick a pumpkin of their own to take home. Also back by popular demand, the whole family can enjoy the magic of Phil Dalton in his Theater of Illusion.
Bring the little ones to trick-or-treat their way around the zoo in their costumes for goodies such as twizzlers, UDF ice cream, chapstick, jelly beans, cookies and more!
HallZOOween remaining days and times are on Saturday and Sunday only as follows:
October 17th-18th from noon to 5pm
October 24th-25th from noon to 5pm
There is no charge outside of admission and parking to attend this event at the Cincinnati Zoo. Costumes are optional and are not required for children to participate in the trick-or-treating. Treats will only be given to children ages 12 and under.
Membership card holders can attend at no additional charge as well. Check out their website here for specific pricing information.
