Halloween weekend in Royal Oak: Friday, October 30th

It's All-Hallows Eve Eve; or as it's better known in Metro-Detroit:  Devil's Night.  I have one question:  where will you be?

Luna
One of Metro-Detroit's best bands (in my opinion) The Edit Concern will be kicking in a Devil's Night Party at Luna this Friday.  Wear your best costume for a change for the top prize; and don't hold back.  Luna is know for it's outrageousness.
Drink specials$2.00 drink specials until 11pm.

Commune Lounge
Enter the Haunted Lair at the Commune Lounge located below Bastone's Restaurant & Brewery.  DJ Hush kicks the party off at 9pm with Absinthe drink specials all night long.  A cash prize is available for the best costume and VIP Booths may still be available.  To reserve a booth, call (248) 544-6250.

Black Finn
I still contend that "School Girl" is NOT a Halloween costume,  but if I were a guy with a fetish, Black Finn is where I would be Friday night.  Prizes will be awarded to the those dressed up in their favorite High School Outfits.
Drink specials:  $2.00 Orange Miller Lites, $3.00 Apple Killaz shots, $4.00 Blowpop shots, $5.00  lunch box

Woody's
"Hell on the Dance Floor" is what you'll find Friday night at one of Royal Oak's most popular dance spots.  Per the course, make sure you're in a costume, a prize will be awarded to the Most Creative Costume along with other spooktacular gifts.

Royal Oak Music Theater
Boo Bash '09 is on and it's where you can go to hear The Killer Flamingos and other local bands perform.  The Boo Bash is hosted by the local Stay and Play Social Club.  Tickets are $25.00 if you grab one before the 29th, $30.00 after. Get there early and you can be entered into the Costume Contest as well.  Doors open at 7:45.
Drink Specials:  From 8pm- 11pm, admission includes 4 Miller or Coors Lights or 3 You Call It Cocktails.

The Magic Bag
Join the Mega 80's, Detroit's premier 80's cover band, this Friday at The Magic Bag in Ferndale.  Door open at 8:00pm, 21 and over please.

Boogie Fever
And if the 80's isn't enough for you, you can have the 60's & 70's too at Boogie Fever in Ferndale.  WDVD 96.3fm will be there looking for the best individual costume, and the best couples costume; the competition will be fierce and is complete with prizes.  Cover is $10.00.

The rest of the weekend:
Looking for a Thursday night party? Look no further: Thursday's Halloween Festivities
And of course, there are always parties on Halloween Day

As always: Don't drink and drive, designate a driver.  If you don't have any friends to drive,  hire one!  The Designate will pick you up and your little car too!  Just call (888) 929-8282.
