The big costumes this year were zombies, even though some of the kids wearing the outfits weren't allowed to watch "Walking Dead" by their parents. Many teens in high schools locally wore some "Breaking Bad" outfits.
Vampires are in, "Thor" outfits preceded the upcoming movie, and fairy princesses and animals are always in abundance. Kids are still wearing Harry Potter gear, but "Spider-Man" isn't as abundant. "Adventure Time" characters are hot for those of all ages, and SpongeBob seems to be fading.
In the galley, see some of the costumes from Valley View Elementary School in Hollywood, one of the smallest public schools in all of Los Angeles, with about 250 children K-6th grades.
Also, check out the hysterical video of parents saying to their children that they ate all of their kids' Halloween candy. It's priceless and funny. Please share!
What was the best costume you've seen? How about the best or worst candy?
