Friday, October 29 , Funk U will play your favorite P-Funk cover and other funky things at Outta The Way Cafe. The funk rolls at 9 pm.

Fright Night Monster Bash will be this Saturday, October 30 at The State Theatre. 80's rock tribute legends Herr Metal and Dr. Fu headline this event that is brought to you by Party DC and HiBall Events. DJ Howl will be spinning discs. There is going to be a pole dancing exhibition with the ladies from Xpose Fitness. There will be a costume contest with a $300 prize. The bash begins at 8 pm. Right now tickets are less than $10 (but the price may increase as the event nears). Go here for tickets

Whitlow's on Wilson's Halloween party features “Whiskey fueled, home fried rock and roll” with The Cheaters on Saturday, October 30. There will be a costume contest with prizes for best costume and sexiest costume.

If you are in Atlanta for Halloween, the big parade will be in Little Five Points.  The Atlanta Rollergirls Examiner reports that there will be Rollergirls in the Halloween Parade.  Saturday, October 30, at 9 pm, the Star Community Bar's Halloween Blowout begins. The featured bands are the Main Street Exiles (Atlanta's premiere Rolling Stones cover band) and special guests The El Caminos. The Star Bar promises that there will be DJ's, costumes, prizes and more! Admission cost is $10.

    I don't know, but the State Theater show sounds really freaky - - dancing on the pole! Lots going on there and sounds like the place to be.
