Halloween has really taken off as a major event celebration in Las Vegas. The whole month of October is full of activities for all ages. There are even a full assortment of things to do with your babies and toddlers. The Las Vegas Clark County Library District has over 40 events alone for ages 0 - 11. Activities include spooky movies, story reading, finger puppets and crafts. Events listed begin October 15 so hurry and check on the dates and locations throughout the valley.

Activities to do with the whole family and perfect for children under 12 and are taking place all over the valley this year, all month long. The Springs Preserve's Haunted Harvest is a great event held on 4-acres of their huge property. This event takes place beginning on October 14, Friday - Sunday through October 31 from 5pm - 9pm. Walk through their decorated gardens, play carnival games, enjoy live entertainment, visit trick-or-treat stations throughout. The Glendale Haunted Corn Maze operates the whole month of October Monday - Sunday from 10am - 5pm, and open until 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Glendale Haunted Corn Maze is in Moapa so check for specific dates and times in case they change. Visit

Nevada Wild Fest is being hosted by the Henderson Pavilion from October 12 through October 16 and features carnival games, haunted houses and live entertainment. While most of the attractions are family friendly, there are different entertainers each night so check the schedule for the best choice for your family. The weekend and night of Halloween is full of things to do with your family and kids 0 - 11. On October 29 from 10am - 10pm, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay turns into the Haunted Reef at the Shark Reef Aquarium. Costumes for children 12 and under are welcome and are rewarded with free entry and trick-or-treat candy. The pathways leading through the exhibits will be decorated and promise a spooky but friendly experience. One of the creepiest and unique experiences to celebrate Halloween with your family is the Titanic Haunted Tour on October 30 and October 31 from 10am - 10pm at the Luxor. Experience the artifacts and the spooky tales of one of the most tragic maritime accidents that still haunts us today.
