It's Halloween 2013 and while plenty of creatures will be on the prowl, there are some who are looking for a cool place to go on a Thursday night to celebrate the event.
To give Tampa Bay residents a heads-up on what's happening Halloween night, here is a short list of some of the activities.
In St. Petersburg, NOVAween 7 kicks off at 9:30pm when those who truly enjoy the "spirit" of Halloween will be out and about showing off their latest costume design. The event takes place at 535 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. St N with partying and dancing until 3:00am. Dress in your best Halloween get up and participate in the midnight costume contest. Prior to the Halloween bash, enjoy the comedy act of Ron White from 6pm to 9pm. Tickets are $18.50 for the party, only. Guests must be 21 and over.
For over-the-top in creative costumes, plan on making an appearance at Ybor's Club Skye where the 14th Annual Erotic Exotic Ball will ring in the witching hour. Enjoy dancing, music, inspired libations, and sexy costumes that have no limits. Party starts at 10:00pm Halloween night.
If spooky is what you're in the mood for, why not take a Ghost Tour in Tampa, St. Petersburg or John's Pass. Let costumed guides tell you all about some of the strangest and eeriest happenings going on in these cities, if you dare. Find out about the haunting at the Old Tampa Bay Hotel and Tampa Theater or the Lady in White at the Vinoy Hotel. Tours begin at 8:00pm.
Wherever you plan to haunt this evening, party hard but don't turn into a zombie. Assign a designated driver to get you home safe and sound, or better yet, take a taxi.
Happy All Hallows Eve to all.
