Halloween is coming soon, and there are several places in the greater Seattle area for children to Trick or Treat. The activities start the weekend prior to Halloween, and are filled with fun for kids. There are many communities and businesses sponsoring Halloween Trick or Treating events, or other activities.
The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Halloween Trick or Treat Night. The downtown business owners and staff dress-up for the evening, and pass-out candy to the kids. Hundreds of people show up for the event. There will be a costume contest, music, and a festive atmosphere. The streets are closed to traffic. It's good to come a little early to find a parking space. It is on October 31st from 5 pm to 7 pm. This is a free event.
Northgate Mall Halloween Bash is happening the weekend prior to Halloween on October 26th from 1 pm to 3 pm. There will be activities for all ages. The mall events are indoors. This is a free event.
The Seattle Children's Museum is holding a Costume Carnival on Halloween from 4 pm to 8 pm. There will be a scavenger hunt, trick or treating, and enjoy scary (age appropriate) stories. This is a free indoor event. The museum is located at 305 Harris Street in Seattle.
The Seattle Aquarium is celebrating Halloween the weekend of October 26th and 27th. The activities start at 10:30 am and run through-out the day. These activities will include pumpkin carving, both normal and underwater. In addition to these events, children can trick or treat at the waterfront businesses (Olympic Sculpture Park to the Ferry Terminal) on October 27th. Parking is $3 per hour in the parking garage.
