There are several fun and free Halloween events set for Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, and Fort Hood.
Killeen area Halloween Events are as follows:
October 3-31: The First United Methodist Pumpkin Patch has relocated this year to the church (3501 E. Elms Rd. Killeen), however it will still feature the same Fall fun as always with a Safe-Trick-or-Treat on October 27. Operation hours are: Mon-Sat 10 am – 7 pm, Sun 12:30 pm – 7 pm.
Saturday October 26: Copperas Cove Safe Halloween Copperas Cove will also be sponsoring a Safe Halloween Trick or Treat at the Park event at the Copperas Cove City Park on Saturday October 26 from 6-8 p.m. For more information, visit the City of Copperas Cove website.
Saturday October 26: Hallelujah Festival at Fort Hood’s Comanche Chapel. This is a Halloween alternative, with bounce houses, wall climbing, horse back rides, face painting, and fun treats. “Biblical and fun” costumes are welcomed.
Saturday October 26: Kids Halloween Mystery The Harker Heights Public Library will be offering this fun kids Halloween mystery on Saturday October 26 from 5-7 p.m. There will be trick-or-treat, games, crafts, and a spooky mystery. Kids are encouraged to come in costume.
Thursday, October 31: Killeen Halloween Carnival The city of Killeen’s annual Halloween Carnival will be held Thursday, October 31, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.at the Special Events Center, 3301 S. W.S. Young Dr. The event will include games, arts & crafts, a pumpkin patch, candy, and a haunted house.
Thursday, October 31: Harker Heights Halloween Hoopla The city of Harker Heights will sponsor Halloween Hoopla on Thursday, October 31 from 5:30 pm - 8:30 at Carl Levin Park, 400 Miller's Crossing.
