Halloween is fast approaching and reality TV is full of stars making headlines. Dressing up in a Halloween costume as a reality TV star can be economical, interesting, a good conversation starter and extremely easy. These Halloween costumes can also be put together last minute with items you may already have in your closet.
Halloween costume ideas for reality TV stars are quite simple to put together, for instance Paula Abdul has many different looks, you can go with former “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul. A nice-looking dress, heels, big earrings, a star ring, oversized necklace, a beauty mark on your left cheek and a coke cup or can. Don’t forget your main accessory Simon Cowell for that significant other who doesn’t “really” want to dress up but likes going to Halloween parties, a black tight t-shirt with hair parted down the middle, and a semi-decent British accent should do the trick.
Additional Halloween costume ideas for women include, Kate Gosselin, Octomom (you know what to do),
The Kardashian sisters (Don’t forget your nine carat ring for Khloe, baby bump for Kourtney and long brown hair), Melissa Rycroft (Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader or a broken and then mended heart), Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett, any one of the "Real Housewives," Ellen DeGeneres new “American Idol” host, Susan Boyle (Grey wig and a frumpy dress), Michelle Duggar “18 Kids and Counting,” this is a great idea for moms who are taking a group of kids trick-or-treating!
Halloween costume reality TV ideas for men include, Ryan Seacrest, Adam Lambert (Glam it up with some black nail polish), Jon Gosselin, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Jeff Probst "Survivor" host, Ty Pennington (Don’t forget your megaphone, tool-belt and spiked hair), Hugh Hefner, Randy Jackson (A big chain and crazy button down shirt- dog!) Harlem Globetrotters “Amazing Race:15,” Jim Bob Duggar “18 Kids and Counting,” Chris Harrison “The Bachelor/Bachelorette” host - don’t forget your roses!
To achieve the Halloween costume of reality TV host Jeff Probst look, a pair of kaki shorts or pants, blue button down, baseball cap, tiki torch, a shell necklace, and sandals, you can even take it a step further if you have purchased a “Survivor” buff or you can make your own.
Reality TV couple Halloween ideas include, Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski from “The Bachelorette,” Jon and Kate, Jon and Hailey Glassman, Dog and Beth the Bounty Hunters, your favorite “Dancing with the Stars” couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Kendra and Hank Baskett, Hugh Hefner and “The Girls Next Door,” Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar “18 Kids and Counting,” Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris host and co-host of “Dancing with the Stars,” Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.
To achieve the Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman reality TV Halloween costume look, jeans for both, Ed Hardy or look-a-like T-shirts, sunglasses for both, Jon’s diamond earrings, cell phone in hand and five packs of candy "cigarettes" should complete the look, don’t forget the divorce papers!
Remember to keep it simple, you don’t have to break the bank to look great for Halloween, look through your closet or your friend’s closets and buy the accessories!
