When it comes to Halloween costume ideas in 2013, the Miley Cyrus VMA's "Twerkin Teddy" outfit, as well as "Breaking Bad" may be among some of the popular costumes for men and women. Other outfits will likely come from zombie shows or movies, other celebrities, superheroes and other TV shows.
The Cambio.com site reported on Oct. 4 with 12 different costumes that they considered "hottest for 2013." The first outfit shown is Miley's VMA's Twerking Costume. It's basically a one piece with provocative Chuck E Cheese type bear on front (complete with tongue hanging out). A large Miley foam finger is also making the rounds as part of the outfit, which really only needs a pair of shoes, fake gold chain, modified hairstyle, and of course the trademark wacky persona that goes with it. Believe it or not, a Robin Thicke style "Beetlejuice" costume is also selling on various sites.
For those opting to not go as Miley or Robin from the VMA's, Cambio shows off some other popular ideas. There's the full yellow chemical resistant suit which allows individuals to dress up like characters from the hit AMC show "Breaking Bad," which just aired the final episode recently. Another option shown is a Kim Kardashian costume, which would involve some work to create one of her special outfits such as the "Kim Met Gala" floral dress.
Other potential costume ideas for guys include the "Sharknado" costume based on the cheesy TV movie, and a "Duck Dynasty" costume based on the popular reality TV series. Grumpy cat, popular because of the internet memes, and the "What Does the Fox Say" are several more options for men. For celebrities, considerations might be Jay-Z, Kanye West, Robin Thicke, President Obama or even any of the multiple superhero costumes out there. Custom-made "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." costumes (based on Agent Coulson or Nick Fury) could rise in popularity along with the hit show that just started on ABC.
Halloween costume sales are already being seen online including those via Amazon.com's reduced prices, Spirit Halloween, Buy Costumes and Costume Kingdom. Once the holiday has officially ended, expected to see some great clearance deals out there at the department stores where you may find a great dress-up outfit for a future event.
