Every year, The Henry Ford hosts a variety of unique events for families to enjoy, but by far the most exciting is their Hallowe'en Nights. Throughout evenings in October people are a come in droves dressed in their best costumes to galavant in the wonderfully decorated village.
They seem to live under the, “Go Big or Go Home” motto: there are hundreds of carved pumpkins that the staff have carved and once they start to go bad they, carve even more. Past that, they have the standard Halloween fair of ghosts, ghouls, and headless horsemen. Don’t worry though, there is nothing here to scare the little ones. Even if they get a little startled, they will soon forget it when they have a bag full of candies and special treats. This event is not just for children, however. Adult will have just as much fun getting their own treats and stopping at locations throughout for hot cider or even a spiked drink.
This year the dates are: October 11-13, 18-20, and 25-27. Museum Members pay $12.75 per attendee that is 2 and up, while Non-Members pay $15 for all 2 and up. Parking is also a $5 fee. These tickets sell out fast, so make sure to purchase them early at either The Henry Ford, their call center, or online! As always, contact The Henry Ford for more information.
